Although there are many signs within the database that would indicate whether the multi currency feature is turned on in QBO, the easiest way:
Go into the Gear Icon
Company Settings -> Advanced
About 3/4 down the page you should see whether the option is turned on or off.
Remember, once you've turned it on, you can't turn it off!
