If you are using the menu option within QuickBooks Desktop, it typically takes anywhere from 2 minutes to an hour, depending upon the size of the file.  The larger the file, or if there is multi currency turned on, the longer it will take.  You will receive an email to the account associated with the QBO file when it is done.
