This feature is only available in QuickBooks Plus.

  • Start in  your Sales Menu
  • Find the Estimate that you've prepared either by clicking on the Open Estimates coloured bar across the top, or navigating to the Customer and finding the Estimate
  • On the right hand side you will see words in blue that say copy to purchase order.
  • If you do not see that as an option, then the setting isn't turned on for you.
  • Go to your Company Settings menu under the Gear Icon, and change your settings under Sales. Click the box that says copy estimates to purchase orders.

And Voila!
