There are always times that you make a mistake, or push something across from HubDoc to QBO incorrectly. Can you republish a document again to QBO?
Absolutely! The re-publish option is visible directly in HubDoc from the right panel.
But.....you will get an error if republish the document, if a document with the same invoice number exists in QBO.
QBO will not allow the document to be published again a second time.
The workaround for this is either changing the invoice number in QBO or deleting the document in QBO.
You will then be good to go!
PS - There was an error in the past that HubDoc couldn't push across documents to QBO, if the document number existed in the database, even for another vendor. They have resolved that, and it should no longer be a problem.
